God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
the courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Tough times…Look at your photo, it speaks of hope, of being renewal once changes have taken over. We may never know it but these tough times would probably make us stronger, able to conquer our fears and could even become the pillar of our strength.
Wishing you the best in 2008!

Amen to that, Niceheart.
Hang in there, keep striving and never lose hope during these tough times for you!

Serenity Prayer is a like a mantra to me. It works. Serenity isn’t freedom from the storm , but peace within the storm

Amen–an oft-repeated prayer that is a real challenge in practice–how well-lived life would be for us if we could practice it! *sigh*
All of God’s blessings on the New Year!

Tough times will always reveal themselves but always have faith and be strong. I’m sure it’ll pass.
