Autumn in Winnipeg

We’ve had a rainy, cold and gloomy week. And what a treat to see the sun shine today and I was out there walking for close to an hour enjoying the wonderful colours of Fall (Autumn). Here are just some of the pictures I took. I hope you enjoy them.

yellow tree and motorcycle

Do you see the yellow motorcycle in the last picture?  It matches with the tree, eh?

Love the trees! And the blue sky that goes along with it. Thanks for the movie reviews below, I’ve been thinking of what movies I missed that I could watch. That’s a nice reference.

As per your questio: I only get to print pictures I like and they look better on print. Some shots are printed on some magazines I regularly contribute as well.

It was 27 deg today and tomorrow will be 30 deg ! Looks like our autumn will be a liitle warmner than normal🙂 I do look forward to a liitle cold – just enough so I don’t have to turn on the heater nor the aircon🙂

Lovely photos! I like how the hues change dramatically during Autumn. I’ve never experienced it but I’ve seen lots of great photos.

Yes, it’s amusing how the motorcycle matches with the tree.

Two of my most favorite song of all-time is about autumn, or associated with it, “Autumn In New York” by Billy Holiday and “Autumn Leaves” by Tony Bennet. Such beauty of falling leaves and brilliant under the sun. That’s why those songs are as evocative, like an autumn afternoon.
